Door Latch Cable
Over the years of use the door latch cable will fray internally and cause the extra tension on the handle making it much easier to break the factory plastic handles. We now offer a replacement cable to eliminate this issue. This product fits the 1992-1997 OBS F-series and Broncos. This cable will work both driver and passenger side. These are sold individually.

First of all it is nice to get something new that is stock for these old trucks. However, installing this was really way harder then originally anticipated. For you guys that have auto locks, be prepared to use another set of hands and nimble fingers to get the cover off for the back half of this latch. There is no way to remove the whole latch unit without drilling out a large rivet for the power lock actuator. So you have to use the tight spaces to get the cable off. Otherwise it all works like it is supposed to work.
