7.3L Powerstroke Alliant Power IPR Valve (1994–2003)
OEM-Quality Replacement Injection Pressure Regulator Valve
This Alliant Power IPR (Injection Pressure Regulator) Valve is a direct replacement for the factory unit found on 1994–2003 7.3L Powerstroke engines. Mounted in the valley on the High Pressure Oil Pump (HPOP), the IPR valve plays a critical role in regulating oil pressure to the injectors—essential for proper engine performance.
Common signs of IPR valve failure include hard starts, stalling, poor throttle response, or no-start conditions. These issues often result from sticking components, damaged seals, failed sensors, or frayed wiring.
Before replacing:
-
Inspect wiring and connectors for damage
-
Ensure the tin nut on the back of the IPR sensor is secure
-
Check for oil leaks or debris around the valve
Installation Notes:
-
Torque the IPR valve to 35 ft/lbs
-
Do not use thread sealer – the valve has a built-in orifice in the threads that must remain unobstructed
Fitment:
-
1995–2003 Ford F-Series (F-250, F-350, etc.)
-
2000–2003 Ford Excursion
-
1995–2003 Ford E-Series Vans (E-250, E-350, etc.)
-
Engine Serial Number (ESN) range: 187,100 to END
This is a high-quality, OEM-spec replacement backed by Alliant Power—trusted by diesel techs and fleet managers alike.
