DieselSite Intake Plenum Boots – 7.3L Powerstroke (1994–2003)

Eliminate boost leaks, oil seepage, and blown boots with DieselSite Intake Plenum Boots, engineered specifically for the harsh oil-rich environment of the 7.3L Powerstroke. These boots connect the intake manifold piping (“spider”) to the intake plenums and are designed to outperform and outlast factory silicone boots.

🔥 What’s Included:

  • (2) Intake Plenum Boots – Spider to intake plenums

  • (4) Worm Gear Clamps

  • Optional upgrade to spring-loaded T-bolt clamps when used with:

    • Billet aluminum intake plenums

    • DieselSite no-crush plenum inserts

⚠️ Important Fitment Note:

  • NOT for use on intercooler piping

  • Designed only for intake plenum connections

💡 Why Factory Boots Fail:

Factory boots are silicone — and silicone is not oil compatible. The 7.3L Powerstroke uses a closed crankcase vent system, which sends oil vapor through the intake. Over time, this oil saturates silicone boots, causing:

  • Deterioration and softening

  • Air and oil leaks (commonly 3–4 PSI boost loss)

  • Boots slipping or blowing off under boost

Even stock trucks experience failures once the boots lose integrity.

🛠️ DieselSite Solution:

  • Fluoroelastomer-lined for superior oil and heat resistance

  • 5-ply braided synthetic reinforcement – won’t kink or collapse

  • Textured outer rubber for maximum clamp grip

  • Handles engine heat and up to 100 PSI boost

  • Prevents blown boots on high-boost applications

  • Stops oil mist buildup in the engine valley

🧪 Built the Right Way:

These are not cheap cut silicone hoses. Each boot is:

  • Individually molded (not cut from bulk hose)

  • Made from premium synthetic rubber

  • Resistant to:

    • Oil & fuel

    • Heat & ozone

    • Gasoline, diesel, ethanol, methanol, gasohol

Fluoroelastomers are used in aerospace and extreme automotive environments for a reason — they survive where silicone fails.

Bottom Line:

If you’re tired of oil-soaked boots, boost leaks, or blowing hoses off your intake, DieselSite Intake Plenum Boots are the best solution available for the 7.3L Powerstroke. Built to handle oil, heat, and boost — once installed, they’re virtually indestructible.
