This creates a multitude of issues with the truck. Aside from smelling exhaust gases in the cab each time you drive the truck and getting the engine bay completely covered in soot, you also loose boost pressure, this in turn can run into a decrease in fuel mileage.
Problem is Driver Side Rear most bolt is impossible to reach with the motor still in the engine bay. So to facilitate this repair it was necessary to pull the motor to drill and tap the hole. This can turn into a costly repair. It was time for a better solution.
