Timing Cover Repair Kit

Repair a damaged timing cover without the time and expense of removing the engine. This Timing Cover Repair Kit is designed to restore the oil pump mounting surface when it has been scratched or damaged by a failed low-pressure oil pump.

The precision wear plate creates a fresh, smooth surface for the oil pump gears, allowing you to repair the existing timing cover instead of replacing it.

Installation

Remove the existing low-pressure oil pump and thoroughly clean the timing cover surface. Apply the supplied sealant and use the included installation tool to properly position the bronze wear plate. Allow the sealant to cure overnight, trim away any excess, and install the oil pump normally.
