Looking to convert your 1980–1997 F-Series truck to a ZF6 transmission? Our updated and re-released ZF6 Transmission Crossmember is engineered to bolt directly into the factory frame holes, making installation clean and simple—with no transmission tunnel or firewall mods required.

Whether you're running a stock setup or a lifted truck, this crossmember is built to maximize driveline clearance and maintain compatibility with aftermarket suspension systems like radius arms and 4-link kits.

  • Direct bolt-in for 1980–1997 F250/F350 frames

  • CNC-cut 1/4” steel construction for maximum strength

  • Large driveline drop section ideal for stock and lifted trucks

  • Bolts to inside of frame rails (not under), clears radius arm brackets

  • Great for Cummins conversions (requires new hole locations)

  • Works with trucks that still have worn OEM body mounts

  • Includes optional shims for fine-tuning transmission height

  • Requires drilling two holes on the driver side for mounting

  • Floor pan heat shield may need to be bent or removed

  • On some crew cab or single cab trucks, you may need to trim a gusset on the underside of the cab for transfer case clearance

  • We highly recommend replacing worn-out body mounts with S&B Silicone Body Mounts for better alignment and added clearance
