We’re excited to announce the updated release of our ZF6 Transmission Crossmember! This crossmember is perfect for those converting their truck to a ZF6 transmission, eliminating the need for transmission tunnel or firewall modifications.
Designed for 1980-1997 Ford F250 and F350 models, this ZF6 Transmission Crossmember is constructed from CNC-cut 1/4" steel, featuring a large driveline drop section that provides ample clearance for both lifted and stock trucks. It installs using the factory transmission crossmember holes and requires only two additional holes on the driver's side. One key advantage of this crossmember is its design—bolting to the inside of the frame rail instead of underneath—ensuring compatibility with aftermarket radius arm brackets and 4-link brackets. It’s also suitable for Cummins conversions, though you will need to drill new holes to reposition it from the stock location.

Note: The crossmember should clear the floor pan and firewall, but one heat shield on the floor pan might need bending or removal. Crew cabs and single cabs may require minor modifications to the gussets under the cab to accommodate the transfer case output flange. For optimal fit, we recommend replacing worn or saggy body mount bushings with S&B Silicone Body Mount bushings. If there is extra clearance between the transmission and floor pan, you may use one or both supplied shims between the transmission mount and crossmember.
