Ford OEM Injection Control Pressure (ICP) Sensor – 1994.5–1996 7.3L Powerstroke
Replace a failing ICP sensor with a genuine Ford Motorcraft or Navistar/International Injection Control Pressure Sensor for early 7.3L Powerstroke engines.
The ICP sensor monitors high-pressure oil system pressure and sends that information to the PCM, allowing it to properly control injector operation. A failing ICP sensor can cause hard starting, rough running, poor throttle response, surging, or other driveability issues.
Features
- Genuine Ford/Motorcraft or Navistar/International component
- Direct replacement for the factory ICP sensor
- Installs in the #2 cylinder high-pressure oil rail port
- Restores accurate injection control pressure readings
- No modifications required
Fitment
- 1994.5–1996 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke
- For engines with a build date through 12/31/1996
How to Spot a Failing ICP Sensor
One of the most common signs of ICP sensor failure is engine oil inside the electrical connector. If you unplug the ICP sensor and find oil pooled inside the connector, the sensor is leaking internally and is in the process of failing or has already failed.
If oil is present in the connector, replacement of the ICP sensor is recommended.
