This high quality replacement front (midship) fuel sending unit is manufactured to the original factory specifications. This comes with a new lock ring and o-ring. It does not come with a filter strainer.

Ford used the same 4-wire harness on gas and diesel engine trucks from 1994-1997. Only two wires are used in the diesels, the hot and ground, the other two are dead. The other two wires in the harness from 1994-1997 were used when the truck had an in-tank fuel pump for the gas engines. The two wire units on the diesel’s from 1983-1993, were plugged into the two pin clip on top of the unit.

• Yellow wire = Sending Unit Hot
• Gray wire = Sending Unit Ground
• Pink/Black wire = Dead
• Black wire = Dead
