Stage 1 – 63/70

Recommended for stock injectors through 180/30s.

The Stage 1 is our choice for most street-driven OBS trucks. It's a good fit for daily drivers, tow rigs and mild performance builds where response and drivability are important.

Stage 2 – 63/73

Recommended for 180/30 through 205/30 injectors.

WHY REPLACE THE COMPLETE TURBO SYSTEM?

Factory Up-Pipes

STOCK-LOCATION INSTALLATION

This also makes it easier to retain other components designed around the factory turbo location.

INTERCOOLER COMPATIBILITY

The Power Series Turbo Kit can be used with applicable stock-location intercooler configurations.

If your truck has an aftermarket intercooler setup, modified intake piping or other non-factory engine components, verify compatibility before ordering.

INSTALLATION

Difficulty: Advanced

Although this is a stock-location/drop-in style turbo package, replacing the turbo and up-pipes on an OBS 7.3L is still a fairly involved job.

Access to the turbo, pedestal and factory up-pipe hardware can be tight, particularly on older trucks where the original exhaust hardware has been in place for years.

We recommend installation by an experienced DIYer or professional technician.

A stock-location kit means the system is designed around the original turbo location. It does not mean installation is a quick bolt-on job.

BUILD THE SYSTEM WHILE YOU'RE THERE

A turbo upgrade is a good time to address the supporting components on your 7.3L.

Depending on your truck and intended use, consider adding:

Tuning
Proper tuning allows you to take advantage of the additional airflow and match the engine calibration to your injector and turbo combination.
